

Adult First Aid, Adult/Child/Infant CPR/AED
The HSI First Aid | CPR AED training program aims to enhance participants' knowledge and skills in First Aid, CPR, and AED techniques. This program is approved by the HSI Medical Advisory Board and reviewed by the HSI Advisory Council. It incorporates the latest resuscitation science and treatment recommendations from the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) and aligns with the 2020 American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC.
This training is designed for individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but need or want to be certified in adult first aid and/or CPR AED for adults, children, or infants.

Adult First Aid | Adult/Child/Infant CPR AED: 4.5 to 6.5 hours
Certification is valid for two years from the month of issue. Students must competently perform all required skills without assistance for performance evaluation. A written evaluation is required when specified by organizational, local, or state regulations, and is recommended for designated responders who have a duty or employer expectation to respond in an emergency and provide first aid care.
